Fully managed ClickHouse for logs

The power of ClickHouse. None of the work.

LogHouse gives you fully managed ClickHouse infrastructure purpose-built for logs. Send us your telemetry and we handle schemas, ingestion, scaling, storage, retention, optimization and upgrades.

Fast logs. Full retention. Simple $0.15/GB pricing.

OpenTelemetry native · ClickHouse powered · Fully managed

Applications send logs through OpenTelemetry or HTTP to a single LogHouse endpoint. LogHouse manages receive, schema, storage, compute, retention, and query. Output goes to LogHouse Explorer, Datadog, Grafana, and the API.

Why ClickHouse

Built on infrastructure proven at enormous scale.

ClickHouse has become a foundation for some of the world's most demanding observability workloads. Organizations including Anthropic and OpenAI use ClickHouse for telemetry at massive scale.

Companies using ClickHouse for observability include — these are not LogHouse customers.

1.59 quadrillion rows

ClickHouse Cloud’s internal logging platform has publicly reported storing more than 1.59 quadrillion rows across hundreds of petabytes of uncompressed telemetry. That platform is not this product.

ClickHouse engineering post

Millisecond-scale analytics

Purpose-built analytical architecture designed to query huge datasets interactively — one of the world’s fastest analytical databases, proven on some of the world’s largest observability workloads.

Built for telemetry

Columnar storage, compression, parallel query execution and object storage make ClickHouse exceptionally well suited to logs and high-cardinality events.

ClickHouse is incredibly powerful. Operating it well isn't trivial.

You can absolutely build your own observability platform on ClickHouse. Then your team owns the wall of decisions:

  • Schema design
  • Ordering keys
  • Indexes
  • Data types
  • OpenTelemetry ingestion
  • Collectors
  • Scaling
  • Compute sizing
  • Storage
  • Replication
  • Retention policies
  • Upgrades
  • Security
  • Backups
  • Query optimization
  • Cost management
  • Operational reliability
  • Partitioning

Or you can send your logs to LogHouse.

Endpoint · API key · Retention · Done.

You want ClickHouse. You don’t want to operate ClickHouse. Send us the logs. We’ll handle the database.

Zero ClickHouse operations

Send logs. We manage everything else.

LogHouse is ClickHouse as a logging product — not a cluster you inherit.

Automatic schema management

Opinionated observability schemas so you don't have to become a ClickHouse table designer.

Managed ingestion

Send logs through OpenTelemetry or the HTTP API. No ingest cluster to build.

Automatic scaling

Compute and storage scale with volume. You don't size shards.

Storage optimization

Columnar layout, compression, and data skipping — applied, not homework.

Managed upgrades

ClickHouse versions, migrations, and underlying infrastructure stay our problem.

Retention management

Pick how long logs stay available. LogHouse runs the lifecycle.

Performance

Logs should be queried, not waited on.

ClickHouse was built for real-time analytical queries over enormous datasets. LogHouse brings that performance directly to log search and investigation.

Ingest. Store. Search. Retain.

Enterprise log infrastructure without enterprise log pricing.

Use Datadog? This changes things.

Keep Datadog. Move the expensive part.

Datadog and ClickHouse now work together to let teams store high-volume logs in ClickHouse and search them directly from Datadog Log Explorer.

LogHouse gives you that ClickHouse backend as a fully managed service.

You do not need to replace Datadog. You do not need engineers to operate ClickHouse. You do not need to ingest all those logs into expensive Datadog storage. Routing and federated search are Datadog Preview capabilities announced June 2026 — not a LogHouse partnership claim.

Same Datadog workflow. Different log economics.

Applications send telemetry to Datadog Observability Pipelines. High-value logs stay in Datadog. High-volume logs go to LogHouse managed ClickHouse. Datadog Log Explorer can query both, including logs stored in ClickHouse, when Federated Logs Preview is available.

FAQ

What is LogHouse?

LogHouse is a fully managed logging platform built on ClickHouse. It manages schemas, ingestion, scaling, storage, retention, optimization and upgrades for customers. LogHouse can be used as a standalone logging platform or as a managed ClickHouse backend for Datadog.

Do I have to operate ClickHouse?

No. You send logs to an endpoint. LogHouse manages the ClickHouse infrastructure: schema, ingest, scaling, storage, retention, optimization, and upgrades.

Can I use LogHouse without Datadog?

Yes. Datadog is optional. Send logs directly and use LogHouse search, patterns, APIs, and retention as your logging platform.

Can Datadog query logs stored in LogHouse?

Datadog and ClickHouse announced Preview capabilities (June 2026) to route logs to ClickHouse via Observability Pipelines and search them from Datadog Log Explorer without re-ingesting into Datadog. LogHouse is a managed ClickHouse backend designed for that architecture. Preview access depends on Datadog; it is not implied to be generally available.

How is LogHouse priced?

The public list rate used for planning is $0.15 per GB ingested, covering ingest, store, search, and retain in the LogHouse model. Plans may include a monthly allotment. That rate is not a customized quote.

Is LogHouse the same as ClickHouse’s internal LogHouse?

No. ClickHouse Cloud’s engineering blog describes an internal logging platform they also call LogHouse. This product is an independent managed service. Scale figures such as 1.59 quadrillion rows refer to ClickHouse’s public writing about their own internal platform, not our customers.

Send us the logs. We'll handle the database.
